During the east tour you will see a lot of nature, rain forest, and endemic species such as lemurs and reptiles.  The tour starts from Antananarivo to Andasibe, the rainforest.

Duration: 6 days

Day 1: Antananarivo

Arrival at Ivato airport. After all formalities, local currency changes. Transfer directly to your hotel

Day 2: Antananarivo – Andasibe

After breakfast, drive to Andasibe. On the way, after 2 hours drive you will be in Marozevo village, visit at a private reserve of amphibians and reptiles called Peyrieras to see all the species of chameleons in this country, red frogs, butterflies, and snakes. Arrival in Andasibe, before your dinner, you do the night walk to see the animal active at night like frogs, mouse lemur and other creatures. And back to the Hotel.

Day 3: Visit of Andasibe National Park

Visit of the national park in the morning where you can see the Indri-Indri, Grey bamboo lemurs, brown lemurs, woolly lemur (avahi). And go to the private park of Vakona in the afternoon (Island of lemurs: black and white lemur, golden colored diadem Sifaka).

Day 4: Andasibe – Manambato – Akanin ny Nofy

In the morning, after breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to the Indri and drive for 3 hours to Manambato. When we arrived there, we take a boat to Akanin’ny nofy. A panoramic view of the Pangalanes Canal. Through great lakes with beautiful green landscapes, sandy beaches and remote villages.

Day 5: Visit Palmarium reserve 

Visit the Palmarium Reserve, to explore this close-by forest to see all the animals living around here. Where you can see six different species of lemurs (they are used to human contact, so they can jump on your shoulder) and the carnivore plant.

Besides that, you will enjoy watching all the fishermen and women using the river for their daily life activities.

Day 6: Palmarium – Tana.

After your breakfast, transfer by boat to Manambato then start drive back to Tana.
